Roosevelt Point & Trail on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon

Roosevelt Point is located on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and provides panoramic views of the eastern canyon. It is accessed by the .2 mile Roosevelt Point trail.

Roosevelt Point was dedicated in 1990 and is named for President Theodore Roosevelt. The 26th President of the United States played an important role in the establishment of the Grand Canyon National Park in 1919.

Roosevelt Point trail is a short hike through the woods that ends at set of benches providing a panoramic view.

Roosevelt Point is accessed via the northern entrance to the park off Highway 67. The North Rim is open from mid-May to mid-October.
