Zion National Park Weddings:
Zion National Park allows weddings of less than 100 people. A permit is required. The application fee is $100 and must be made a minimum of 2 weeks in advance. Available locations include the South Campground Amphitheater (100 people), Zion Lodge Lawn (75 people), Nature Center North Lawn (50 people), Temple of Sinawava (35 people), Timber Creek Overlook (20 people) and Menu Falls (10 people). No permits will be granted for another location.
Event monitors are required for complex weddings and large groups. Monitoring fees of $50 per hour per monitor, plus travel time, may be required. Permits do not guarantee exclusive use of the area and wedding parties are not permitted to exclude other park visitors from the site.
The shuttle bus restrictions from March through November are not lifted by the permit. Where chairs are permitted, they must be folding chairs brought on the shuttle bus during this time period. Other restrictions also apply.
Zion Lodge is available for receptions of 25 people or more. Receptions at the Grotto or Kolob Canyons picnic areas are at a first come, first serve basis and no portions may be reserved.
